A digital ecosystem for Madrid's iconic opera-restaurant
La Favorita is one of Madrid's most iconic restaurants, famous not just for its exquisite Navarrese cuisine, but also for a one-of-a-kind opera dining experience, where waitstaff are trained opera singers. With such a rich and layered offering, La Favorita needed more than a website. They needed a personalized digital ecosystem tailored to their multifaceted business.

Our objective
- Build a clean, elegant website that reflects La Favorita's refined identity
- Create a fully custom internal platform to manage restaurant, events, catering, and live performances
- Replace fragmented tools with one centralized solution
- Streamline operations and enhance internal coordination

The website
We began with a Wix-powered landing site, simple for the internal team to update, but elegant enough to represent the brand's prestige. It served as the digital front door for bookings, menus, events, and more.

The challenge
La Favorita's operations were too unique for off-the-shelf software. They needed a custom solution that could integrate restaurant reservations, event planning, catering logistics, opera performances, and payments, all in one place. No existing SaaS platform fit their needs.

The solution: a custom internal platform
Using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS on the front end and Firebase + Stripe on the back end, we built a tailored internal tool with modules to manage:
- Restaurant reservations and floor planning
- Private event organization and client coordination
- Catering service logistics
- Scheduling and promotion of live opera performances
- Payment integration for multiple business verticals

Why a unified operations platform
La Favorita runs multiple lines of business: restaurant, catering, opera performances, and private events. Each has different teams, calendars, and workflows. They needed a single, fully custom system that brings everything together, supports role-based access for each team, and keeps reservations and assignments in one place.

One system for all teams
The platform centralises day-to-day operations so staff can see every booking and who owns it, whether it's a restaurant reservation, an opera performance, or a catering job. From any screen, managers can review upcoming events, confirm who's assigned, and switch context without losing information or duplicating work.

Views that match their workflow
To make the system intuitive for different roles, we shipped multiple views of the same live data:
- CRM view: customer and booking details with ownership and status at a glance.
- Calendar view: day/week/month timelines to plan staff and avoid clashes across restaurant, opera, and catering.
- List view: fast, filterable queues for high-volume operations and bulk updates.

The impact
This centralized platform has helped La Favorita:
- Improve operational efficiency
- Coordinate complex schedules across teams
- Enhance the guest experience through better internal alignment
